New Delhi: Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has quietly launched the Vivo Y10 and Vivo Y10 t1 versions of its budget smartphones in the country.
With the exception of the MediaTek Helio chipset, Bluetooth, and storage capabilities, both smartphones have nearly identical features. While the Vivo Y10 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 processor, UFS 2.1 storage, and Bluetooth 4.2, the vivo Y10 t1 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, eMMC 5.1 storage, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Glacier Blue and Moonlit Night colour options are available for the Vivo Y10 and vivo Y10 t1 versions of the phone. The vivo Y10 t1 version is currently available for purchase in China for $173, while the Vivo Y10 has not yet gone on sale.
The phones have a plastic body and are powered by OriginOS, which is based on Android 11. Aside from the dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS), MicroUSB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, MicroSD card slot, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, and proximity sensor, other features include a compass and proximity sensor.
Both the Vivo Y10 and the Vivo Y10 t1 models have a 6.51-inch LCD display with a 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+) resolution on the front and back, respectively. There are two cameras on the back of the smartphones with dewdrop notch: a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphones are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at a rate of 10W.
