Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly gives update on preparing to return to Beth role
Yellowstone actress Kelly Reilly has talked about preparing to return as Beth Dutton.
The actress is set to reprise her role as Beth in the second half of the fifth and final season of Yellowstone, with new episodes scheduled to arrive in November 2024.
Speaking with TVLine, Reilly was promoting her new up-and-coming indie Little Wing when she was asked if she accepted the new role to show audiences a different side of her talent.
Reilly explained: “I don’t really think so, because look, there may be some people who have only seen me in Yellowstone, but I’ve been working as an actress for 30 years.

“You just don’t want to get bored of yourself. You want to keep it fresh and work with different collaborators and actors and crew… I’ve just done two movies with Kenneth Branagh, A Haunting in Venice and Here , which is coming out this fall with Tom Hanks and directed by Robert Zemeckis, and I was thinking, ‘I want to fit in as many different characters as possible before I go back to Yellowstone.’
The star admitted, “[Doing this is a way to keep it alive for myself so that when I go back to Yellowstone, I can tie Beth back in, and it feels alive again because I walked away.”
