Truecaller, a caller ID and spam identifier, has released its 12th edition, which includes features like call recording for everyone and sharing, ghost calling, call announce, and video caller ID, a new brief video feature that appears while you call your contacts. The user interface has also been redesigned to be more clean and basic. This will be accessible for Android right now. The video caller ID would last no more than 10 seconds.

Truecaller, a Stockholm-based caller verification software, recently surpassed 300 million monthly active users worldwide, with 220 million in India. It was 250 million just over a year ago, implying that 50 million new users have joined Truecaller since October 2020. The Truecaller app, which has been around for over 11 years and supports numerous languages, is available all around the world.

The call recording will be saved on the user’s device locally.

“The new features in Version 12 will allow consumers to have more fun and control over their communication while also providing a safe, enjoyable, and gratifying experience.” We worked hard to integrate a lot of new features and simplify the UI without making it more complicated. At the same time, the app is lighter and faster, allowing for smoother performance and better battery life,” stated Truecaller CEO Alan Mamedi.
